(More customer reviews)I bought this unit to cool a small area in my basement because there are no windows down there to vent a air conditioner.I didn't think a company would sell me a fan for 200.00!!! I'm so "HOT" right now(pun intended). According to the description you would be led to believe that this unit is a bit more than a fan. There is absolutely no need for this product, it is absolutely unneccasary.It's less than a fan! A fan covers more area than this box of nothing.It is described as an air cooler that can handle approx 150 square feet.That's a lie! I called the company and they told me that depending on where you live it might not work! If you are in the market for something more than a fan this is not the product for you.The sad thing is I paid extra for shipping and I have to pay to send it back to them I'm gonna be out of 73 bucks!!!.Choose wisely.

I was previously using a plastic tumbler/cup for my tea until a co-worker informed me that some plastics can leech harmful chemicals when hot liquids are added to them. This glass tumbler is exactly what I was looking for. It's just slightly heavy, but what do you expect for a nice sturdy glass mug. The lid on the mug I received was the silver/stainless one, not the black one that is shown on the first image. I wanted the silver one, so I am pleased. Just remember, there is no hole in the lid to drink out of, it is a solid screw on cap (as pictured). Product arrived 4 business days after I ordered, very satisfied!

Update:

I still cant rave enough about this product. I ended up ordering 6 more after family and co-workers said how they wanted one (they make great gifts). Sun's tea has actually updated the mugs now, they come in great little brown cardboard boxes that look pretty trendy/eco friendly (see pics I posted). Also the lid has been updated, it looks like a nicer stainless metal, more sleek and has a few solid rings etched around it. The mug itself is dishwasher safe, but they recommend that the lid be hand washed. I use my mug at work and paired with a borosilicate glass straw from [...], and I'm all set (just a little clinking since both products are glass, but both are very durable).

(More customer reviews)After several decades of use, my faithful Igloo Cooler was finally showing evidence of wear and tear. Several cracks had appeared in the outer shell, but it still didn't leak. It was time to get a new cooler. Since I had such good luck with the first Igloo, I spotted a display of 52-quart Igloo Marine Coolers and didn't hesitate to buy one. It's a little bigger than the first Igloo, but not much, and seems to have a little thinner walls, perhaps reflecting better quality insulation. It has a measuring ruler on the top, both in inches and centimeters. It's sturdy and well built and has a good capacity. Plus it has a drain, something my first model lacked. If this new cooler works as well as my first Igloo, it's well worth the cost.

- saves you in energy bills since it can cool the room instead of using the ac
- filters are washable
- the included remote gives you controls even in bed
- the 30 min interval timer feature is great specially when it gets too cold at night

cons:
- the ionizer feature is more of a display light than anything
- needs a weekly maintenance. water mineral builds up at the bottom, if you let it sit for more than a week, taking it out posts a problem.
- if you even find the time to actually clean the insides of the fan and and take out the dusts and water deposits, it would take a lot of patients since the machine wasn't designed for easy disassemble. (you'll need a thin long screw driver to take out some of the screws.)

bottom line:
machine is great as an alternative humidifier and room fan.It is a high maintenance machine make sure you clean it every week or two.

Only after filling the entire tray with ice and water chilled overnight does this thing have any cooling effect and even than, it's only for an hour or so.

Anything less then ice and ice water will do nothing more than generate humidity and waste power.

Save your money and buy a real AC unit for supplemental cooling.
