Other than that the product work perfect. I hope they fix this issue. I found this at one of my local water filling store. same price and if I bought it there I would have saved the shipping price even with tax added.

Product Description:
This clever design holds back water as you turn over your 3 or 5 gallon water bottle onto your cooler or other water dispenser. Insert the tube inside your bottle and screw it on. As you turn the bottle the ball inside the tube is forced down blocking the water flow. Once the bottle is set into position the ball floats upward in the tube, allowing free flow of water. A single Easy Load cap can be moved from bottle to bottle as you refill your dispenser. With this dishwasher safe product, having two Easy Loads assures you have a clean one. This 48mm screw top fits most 3 and 5 gallon water bottles and is considered a standard size. For reference, outside dimension for the bottle opening would be 1.889 inches. If you have a regular cap for the bottle the outside dimension of that cap is about 2 inches. If your water cooler has a center post, this post can not be taller than 2.5 inches for this product to work. Please measure. GE coolers often have a taller center post.

(More customer reviews)Excellent size -- about the same as a 16 oz bottled water (but in fact 18oz) -- and the way the lid extends out so you can attach a clip to your belt is very sturdy and perfectly sized so that your water bottle will hang perfectly against your waist, neither too snug nor too loose. (You must buy your own clip.)

The acrylic "straw tip" that you touch to your lips is solidly built, and long enough so that you won't bump your nose while drinking. The straw tip connects to a softer plastic straw that descends to the bottom of the jar so you do not have to tilt it to drink.

The transparent design of the jar makes it easy to see how much water you have left, and the opening is large enough to put ice into, and it is easy to clean.

One problem. If you take this with you from the outdoors into your (hot) car, and then after driving a few blocks try to take a drink, water will shoot out of the straw like a geyser as the pressure equalizes. There's a little air valve that looks as if it is meant to keep this from happening, but, it happens. (When heated, air expands, which creates pressure to push out the water at the first chance it gets.)

I like the bottle so much otherwise, that I am keeping it, but I am remembering to be very careful when opening it for the first time after having been in my car. (There's no way to stop it from happening, but, you can aim it at a plant or something.)

(More customer reviews)I purchased two of these bottles for my husband and I.We really felt guilty throwing away about 6 water bottles a day in home so we wanted to switch to refillable bottles.We have purchased bottles before that smell or that are hard to clean.I hate having bottles that the spout is exposed to the world's elements and germs.I know it sounds crazy but I just think it's gross.This bottle is a dream come true.It has a push button to open the top that safely secures your spout.I always just throw it in my gym bag and it never leaks.I also hate squirting water into my mouth when I'm very thirsty and I love that this has a large enough spout that I can actually drink from.It's so easy to clean and it's dishwasher safe.I use it daily so I hand wash it.It has a clip that I've used to clip it to the side of the kid's backpacks.It's very light and not heavy at all.
It's bpa free so we're not ingesting disgusting chemicals.It fits into the cupholder in my car too.
This is a dream come true bottle.

(More customer reviews)I had awesome bottles that I've had for years. Silly me can't remember who made them and someone stole them a few days ago. I was on the hunt to find my old ones. I came across these that were similar but the reviews weren't so good. I got them anyway. The cold pack cannot be taken out it has to be left in or the lid cannot close, it will continuously turn and it will also leak as it is not closed properly. I think an extra gasket in the lid will solve the problem. I know this is a hassle but if you are looking for something specific......... I am.
